Council direction to staff regarding permanent base adjustment.

On May 2, 2017 the mayor and city council heard a presentation from the League of Arizona Cities and Towns regarding the differences between the Alternative Expenditure Limitation, or "Home Rule," voted on every four years and the Permanent Base Adjustment. Staff is seeking direction to move forward on taking the necessary steps to prepare for a possible consideration by the voters in the regularly scheduled election cycle in 2018.
