The Downtown Redevelopment and Implementation Strategy (DRIS) was adopted by the city council in September 2010 as a strategy to advance redevelopment in Apache Junction's downtown. This presentation will include a summary of accomplishments, status of current development activity, and a reminder of the goals yet to reach. With the city’s primary redevelopment tool no longer available (TIF) there may be other opportunities for partnerships or city participation that can be considered in order to continue the momentum for implementation of the DRIS.
